Jennifer “Jeni” Harter was certified in Shoden and Okuden Jikiden Reiki in October 2025. Jikiden Reiki is not the typical western reiki seen here in the United States. Jikiden Reiki is the traditional and original teachings by Master Mikao Usuai, Founder of Reiki. Taught and passed down in tradition, there are no additional modalities in Jikiden Reiki as found in Western Reiki. This original Reiki as it was founded is backed by research and is widely accepted in Western Medicine as holistic addition to current medical interventions. Jeni dove deep into the traditional and simple practice of Jikiden Reiki knowing that this modality is new to the Rochester, NY and surrounding area.
